The first Chevrolet HHR arrived on the automotive scene in late 2005. The 2009  HHR comes in a four door wagon or a two seat panel with solid handle free rear doors. The regular wagon has two levels of trim accessories, the LS and the LT.  The LS includes 16-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning with cabin filtration, cruise control, keyless entry, a fold-flat front passenger seat, a 60/40- split-folding rear seat, full power accessories and audio accessories including a six-speaker CD stereo with an auxiliary jack. 
LT models come in standard 1LT and the upgraded 2LT. The 1LT incorporates 16-inch wheels, an eight-way power driver seat and an MP3-compatible stereo. Meanwhile, the 2LT adds a sport-tuned suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, exterior chrome accents, color-keyed running boards, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls and a premium audio speaker system with subwoofer. Power is supplied for the LS and the LT1 by a ECOTEC 2.2L engine with E85(1) FlexFuel capability, while the LT2 is equipped with a ECOTEC 2.4L engine with E85(1) FlexFuel capability.
Offered in 2008 is a sporty and swift SS model with a totally new upholstery look inside and many other new features and accessories. This new HHR SS features a turbocharged dual overhead cam, ECOTEC 2.0L I-4 engine. Packed with technology such as direct injection and Variable Valve Timing (VVT), this engine helps supply the HHR SS Turbocharged with an impressive EPA estimated MPG 29 highway.

So as you might imagine several aftermarket manufacturers are making a large range of HHR Accessories to make your HHR even more special.  If you drive one a few days it’s hard not to fall in love with this unique retro ride.
