CAR ALARM
The purpose of an automotive alarm system is quite simple. An alarm is programmed to go off and produce a high-pitched sound every time somebody tries to open the door of your vehicle, or even go near it for that matter, without turning the alarm off first. So if the alarm is switched on and you tried to open it, the alarm would go off. This is designed to discourage thieves from going near your vehicle to steal it.
In the U.S.A., three quarters of the crimes include property crime and car theft. Out of the two crimes, car theft is the most common crime. Vehicles without an alarm are easy to target compared to houses. In addition, a car has a high demand and thus a car is very profitable to steal. The other reason for car theft is that it can be stolen in no time without leaving any clues that may help identify the thief.
In this day and age, a simple siren-based car alarm is just not enough. There is a need for a hybrid car alarm that not only deters theft, but the alarm also recovers the car after it has been stolen.
Features:
- • Audible car alarm
- • Disabler-Immobilizer car alarm
- • Car alarm with a tracking system
A high end car alarm will work automatically when you leave the vehicle. Some features of this type of car alarm are dual staged shock sensors, a programmable ignition lock, starter disable protection, and parking light output. If someone moves or hits your car, the dual staged impact sensor reports the intensity of the motion. Depending on the intensity of motion, the volume of the car alarm increases. Other general advantages are vibration alarm, door unlocked alarm, and a trigger alarm that activates sound and flash, and breaks the electric circuit.
A car alarm system is an absolute must have accessory if you want to keep your vehicle safe.
There are additional things you can do to help prevent the theft of your car. Always keep your car locked and your keys in your pocket, even if you are only going inside for a short time. Do not keep the spare key anywhere in or on the car. Park your car in well-lit areas, and if possible, park in secure locations, like a garage.
