WINDOW TINTING

A very brief history of tinting films show that a basic dyed film was first on the automotive scene.  It provides simply privacy and shading, an average of 30% heat reduction. In the early 90s, a second generation film was born; metalization was integraded with dye.  This provided an average of 50% heat reduction. The metal could stand alone for a maximum of 70% heat reduction, due to increased shine. The "hybrid" dyed/metal films won, and these metalized window tinting films are most commonly used today for automotive window tinting.

The most common automotive window tinting customer, is the person interested in reducing heat & glare from the sun in their vehicle. Most automotive window tinting films reduce solar heat by 40%-60%.

This heat reduction provided by window tinting lightens the load on a car's a/c system, also improving gas mileage in the process. Yes, that's right, window tinting film improves the gas mileage of your vehicle.

BENEFIT's

  • Window tinting reduces heat in your car
  • Window tinting protects your car's interior

  • Window tinting reduces glare

  • Window tinting reduces UV rays

Anyone that lives in a sunny climate knows the importance of window tinting for protecting your car's interior. Over the last decade the quality of window tinting films have made dramatic improvements and they no longer bubble or crack like the old window tinting films used to. In fact the new window tinting molds to the glass so well that it is impossible to tell that it is not actually a component of the window glass itself.

The sun begins to degrade the interior of your vehicle immediately and even indirect sunlight will have a negative effect on a cars interior, so window tinting is the only remedy for this common problem.

Another one of the great benefits to window tinting film is that it keeps more of the UV rays outside of the car, lessening the detriment that the sun can cause on the eyes and the risk of skin cancer, premature aging, and the other perils of just too much sun light. Good window tinting can reduce that one-arm tan that many people get from driving as well.  One thing that few people would notice is that automobile window tinting film has a way of reducing glare on your HHR windows, making for a safer drive in brightly lit areas, rain storms, or other bad conditions.
