ELECTRONIC SPEED  DETECTORS

Radar detectors for Chevy HHR vehicles are extremely effective for warning drivers that they are approaching a speed detection device. The speed is calculated using the difference between the transmit frequency and receive frequency. (also known as the Doppler shift). They are essentially microwave radio receivers, and as such, it is important that the detector you want can identify the radio waves emitted by the equipment used by the authorities.

For most of the drivers in the United States, radar detectors are common electronic devices that are widely used in the cars to determine if the speed is monitored by the police radar unit. The interesting part is that studies claim that the vehicles using radar detectors have a reduced threat of accidents whereas the police believe that vehicles using radar detectors have a greater risk of accidents.

Chevy  Radar detectors come essentially in two types, corded or uncorded. The corded typically mounts to your windshield, and because of its location offers an aerial less-obstructed detection. Cordless is as the name suggests, and offers you portable convenience to have the unit located where you want. This also means that you can use the unit for different vehicles without having to resort to multiple units or time consuming removals or re-installs

Radar Lazer Detectors are more advanced than radar detectors as they are much more sensitive and they can provide warning about police radars in the area much quicker. However,  Radar Lazer Detectors have some big disadvantages because of their high sensitivity.  A radar detector jammer doesn't have any of these problems. Unlike radar detectors and radar laser detectors, a radar detector jammer not only gives warning about the presence of police radar, but it also uses its own radio transmitter to give out a jamming signal that interferes with the police radar signal and it makes it impossible for the policemen to accurately determine the speed of your Chevy HHR.  Isn't that what you are trying to accomplish.
